On the afternoon of 15th September, 2020, under the leadership of Director General Luo Guangbiao with the Municipal Judicial Bureau, the inspection and acceptance team concerning the ‘Seventh Five-Year’ plan for increasing public knowledge of the law in Anqing City, came to Anqing Foreign Language School to carry out the acceptance work. Chief Inspector Zhang Fushuang with the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, and Section Chief Hu Ying of the Regulations Section accompanied the acceptance inspection.
First of all, Anqing Foreign Language School's President Madam Huang Wenli made a report on the construction of the rule of law in the school and the implementation of the ‘Seventh Five-Year’ plan for increasing public knowledge of the law. The checking group gave full affirmation to the rule of law construction work of Anqing Foreign Language School after on-the-spot inspection and reading the ledger. Afterwards, Director General Luo Guangbiao pointed out that in recent years, Anqing Foreign Language School conscientiously implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's concept of the rule of law in all respects, attached great importance to the rule of law education of the youngsters and children, actively cultivated students to form good values and launched various publicity and education work in law popularization, which popularized the knowledge of relevant laws to all the teachers and students by means of abundant publicity to persist in running the school in accordance with the laws and regulations. During the ‘Seventh Five-Year’ plan for increasing public knowledge of the law, students' legal awareness and self-protection ability have been continuously enhanced, the staff's concept and thinking of the rule of law have been constantly improved, and remarkable achievements have been made in the ability and level of governing the school by law.
Furthermore, Director General Luo Guangbiao stressed that Anqing Foreign Language School gives full play to its unique advantages, takes the initiative to connect with the judicial departments under its jurisdiction, and makes every effort to promote the rule of law education into the campus, classes and online activities. Besides, the key role of ‘Vice President of the Rule of Law’ in the rule of law education is utilized to implement special activities of the rule of law that students are delighted to hear and see so as to create a satisfactory atmosphere of studying, obeying, abiding by and using the law in the campus and promote the concept of the rule of law in the hearts of students.
After the meeting, the inspection team had a more in-depth exchange on the publicity and education of the rule of law in Anqing Foreign Language School, and put forward valuable suggestions for the work of the rule of law education in Anqing Foreign Language School as well.
